The 3rd Annual West Virginia Conference on Traumatic Brain Injury

March 6-8, 2019 at the Resort at Glade Springs Daniels, West Virginia
This conference is open for survivors of TBI, their family members, and professionals. We are pleased to bring in several national-level presenters from across the country in addition to our own state-level experts. Topics will include improving communication, sexual health following a TBI, rehabilitation efforts, self-advocacy, behavioral health and substance abuse, medical marijuana, and many, many more.
View full session descriptions and presenter biographies, and can be received by emailing TBI@hsc.wvu.edu. Continuing education credits are are pending for a total of 15.5 hours in the following disciplines: SW, LPC, Nursing, PT, OT, SLP, Educator certificate, Psychology.
Cost of attendance includes breakfast on Thursday and Friday and lunch on all three days PLUS all conference materials and access to the 2019 TBI Vendor Fair sponsored by the statewide Traumatic Brain Injury Services Program and the WV Assistive Technology Program.

Please note that survivors wishing to apply for a travel stipend will have that opportunity at the end of the registration process. Stipends include mileage reimbursement, meals, and lodging. Stipends are based on availability and slots are limited.
