Needs Assessment Survey: Person with a TBI, Family Member, and Professional
The WVU CED is seeking participants to complete a survey for the Traumatic Brain Injury needs assessment study involving people with a TBI, family members, and professionals.
Who can participate?
- To participate in the study, you must be a resident of West Virginia and at least 18 years of age.
- You must belong to either one of the following three groups:
- Person who had a traumatic brain injury or concussion in the last 10 years
- Family members to individuals with traumatic brain injury
- Professionals who serve individuals with traumatic brain injury
Who can’t participate?
- People who are not a resident of West Virginia
- People below 18 years of age, and who do not belong to either of the groups mentioned above.
What is the study about?
The TBI needs assessment is a one of its kind research study conducted for the first time in West Virginia. This study will utilize information obtained through surveys to identify needs, gaps, and barriers to further improve access to services for individuals with a traumatic brain injury and their families. This is an opportunity to provide valuable, individualized feedback that can assist in steering TBI service efforts across West Virginia.
How can you participate?
You can participate by completing the survey which will take approximately 10-30 minutes to complete. The survey is available electronically at the link below, or a paper copy can be requested by contacting at 304-293-4692, extension 60683.
